Returns & Refunds Policy

Standard Return Policy

There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product:

  • You have 45 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.
  • Defective items may be returned or exchanged for any reason within 1 year of receipt with a full refund of your purchase price, including shipping costs under HiveGenie product warranty.
  • Only items that have been purchased directly from HiveGenie, can be returned to HiveGenie. Products purchased through other retailers must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.
  • Please ensure that the item you’re returning is repackaged with all the cords, adapters and documentation that were included when you received it.

There are some items, however, that are ineligible for return, including:

  • Opened equipment
  • Modified equipment
  • Intentionally damaged equipment
  • Items previously reported as stolen

How to Return an Item

Ship your item back to HiveGenie

  1. Go to our contact page and fill-in the contact form.
  2. Be sure to include your name, email, and item order number.
  3. Once we review your rquest, we will send you an email including a shipping label and further shipping instuctions.
  4. Please ensure that the item you’re returning is repackaged with all the cords, adapters and documentation that were included when you received it.
  5. Return the item as instructed in the email from us.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your item, a refund is initiated immediately. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method, and on the order status:

  • If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within seven business days of receipt of the returned item or cancelation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.
  • If you canceled a purchase before we shipped the item to you, and you were billed for it, we initiate your refund immediately after you submit your cancelation request.
